FINAL ASSESSMENT
This score summarizes how strongly the text matches patterns used by this tool. It is not a calibrated probability of authorship and cannot identify who or what wrote the text.
How to use it: Use the result as one fallible signal, never as proof or as the sole basis for an academic, employment, disciplinary, legal, healthcare, or compliance decision.

ANALYSIS
Language-agnostic model signals
These are the model-based signals returned for your text. Each value is a signal strength, not a verdict, and none of them prove who or what wrote the text.

01
AI-likeness score
Summarizes how strongly the text matches the AI-like writing patterns this tool looks for. It is not a calibrated probability of authorship and cannot identify who or what wrote the text.
0–39%Lower signal
40–49%Indeterminate
50–100%Higher signal
02
Signal consistency
Signal consistency summarizes how strongly the tool’s internal indicators align with one another. It does not measure the probability that the result is correct and is not proof of authorship.

METHOD
How Our Analysis Works
Advanced multi-checkpoint detection methodology
This tool combines several analytical steps with language-agnostic model signals to estimate how strongly a text matches AI-like writing patterns. It accepts input in many languages, but performance varies by language, length, source model, and human editing, and the result is a signal — not proof of authorship.
Text preparation. The passage is cleaned and split into sentences for analysis.
Statistical & structural features. Sentence length, uniformity, punctuation and distributional patterns are measured.
Linguistic & pattern signals. Known AI-signature phrases and connector/formal-language patterns are counted from the actual text.
Semantic & predictability signals. Multilingual model signals — a pseudo-perplexity (masked-token predictability) score from XLM-RoBERTa and sentence-embedding patterns from paraphrase-multilingual-mpnet-base-v2 — are computed when available.
Signal synthesis. The signals are combined with weighting; no single signal decides the result.
Score-band assignment. The overall AI-likeness score is placed in a band: lower signal, indeterminate, or higher signal.
Sentence-level review cues. When available, sentences with a stronger signal are highlighted as review cues \u2014 not verdicts.
Limitations & human interpretation. The result is a preliminary signal, not proof of authorship. Performance varies by language, length, source model and human editing.
Clear signals for text review
Free to use: run checks without creating an account.
No sign-up required: start immediately.
multi-signal HYBRID-DETECT™: a multi-signal process designed for practical review.
many languages: useful for multilingual workflows.
Sentence-level review: focus on passages that need a closer look.
How it works
1. Paste the text you want to review
Add the passage you want to check. AI Detector Checker can auto-detect the language, or you can choose one manually.
2. Run the analysis
The tool applies its multi-signal HYBRID-DETECT™ process to look for patterns commonly associated with AI-written text.
3. Review the result in context
You will receive a signal-based assessment and sentence-level signals that help you decide what needs a closer review. For more detail, visit How It Works and Features.
Why AI Detector Checker
Built for real review workflows
This AI detector is designed to support practical text review. It helps teachers, editors, publishers, agencies, and content teams check text quickly and focus on the passages that deserve attention.
Clearer outputs, not just a single label
AI Detector Checker combines signal-based results with sentence-level review signals, so the output is easier to interpret than a simple yes-or-no verdict.
More transparency around the process
You can explore the method, feature details, and published benchmark information through the Features, Benchmarks, and FAQ pages.
Who it is for
Teachers and academic reviewers: screen submissions that may need closer review.
Editors and publishers: check drafts before publication and review passages that feel overly uniform or machine-written.
Agencies and content teams: review client work, outsourced drafts, and internal content before publishing.
Writers and professionals: add a second layer of review when originality, tone, and trust matter.
AI Detector Checker accepts input in many languages, which makes it useful for international teams, multilingual publishing, and cross-language review.
Language coverage matters, but context still matters more. Translation, heavy editing, short passages, and mixed-authorship text can all affect how signals appear. You can review published benchmark information on the Benchmarks page.
Use the result as evidence, not proof
AI detection works best as part of a broader review process. A score can point you toward passages worth checking, but it should not replace human judgment, editorial review, or policy decisions.
Ambiguous or mixed cases can happen. Some human writing may look unusually uniform, and some AI-assisted writing may include strong human edits. AI Detector Checker is most useful when you read the result alongside the text itself and the surrounding context.
